NOVEMBER, 2012 “DEDICATION OF PORT ROYAL MUSEUM OF AMERICAN HISTORY”
The Museum opened November, 2012, at 506 Main Street, Port Royal, VA, 22535, (previously Union First Market Bank building). Benefactors of our two largest collections of historical artifacts are Caroline County natives Mr. Herbert Collins of Green Falls Estate, south of Bowling Green, and the Skinner family of Snowden Road, along the Rappahannock River. Many other Caroline families continue gifting and/or loaning items to our new museum for public viewing.
